The SUMMIT Residences for the discerning few

Okay, so usually I think of myself as pretty good with directions, following them at least. But as I pull up in front of the Summit Residences display home, I’m thinking somehow I must have taken a significant wrong turn. This elegant, sophisticated beauty must surely be West Vancouver despite the fact I’m supposed to be in Chilliwack.

Still, sales representative Jim Banser is waiting, so I guess I’m in the right spot after all. As he throws open the front door, a whole lot of descriptors spring to mind – spectacular, fabulous, incredible. They all fall short of reality. This is one truly beautiful, truly unique home.

The foyer takes its cue from the grand mansions if history – coved ceiling, elegant chandelier, and granite inlaid tile floor. Honest, there’s a geometric inlay in the floor.

Upstairs this floor plan is all about easy entertaining and family time. The kitchen is huge with an angled centre island and an irresistible ambiance of welcome. There’s a fluid interconnectivity with the living room, a comfortable, open space visually defined by another coved ceiling with concealed rope lighting.

“You have to see the ensuite,” Jim tells me. He’s right. Standing alone, contemporary tub, the sleek good looks of dual vessel sinks, a shower that would make getting up in the morning a pleasure – this space has it all.

Although I’m convinced the view across the Fraser Valley floor is unbeatable, Jim insists I check out the second show home located even higher up the property. Once again, the sense of quality is inherent, and he’s right, the view is even more breathtaking.

Want to get up close with all this natural beauty? Here’s another bonus – The Summit Residences is surrounded on three sides by Mount Thom Park meaning you could be hiking the diverse trail network in minutes.
